The Maharaja Jungle Trek is a self-guided walk through of the Southeast Asia natural environment and is located in the Asia area of Disney’s Animal Kingdom.  Very similar to the Pangani Forest Exploration Trail, the Maharaja Jungle Trek puts you face to face with such animals as the Asian tiger, elds deer, rodrigues fruit bat, Malayan flying fox and many more.  The trek also takes you through an amazing aviary filled with over 50 species of birds.  The Maharaja Jungle Trek is not only an Asian animal adventure but also is the backdrop for a detailed backstory (fiction).  The entire trail is roughly 3/8 of a mile and will take you around 20-30 minutes to experience but don’t be surprised if you spend a lot more time exploring the details.
