Limited Time ‘Tasting Sampler Experience’ At Disney’s Animal Kingdom Coming Soon

Disney just announced that it will be offering a new food experience at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.  This limited time ‘Tasting Sampler Experience’ will give you an opportunity to purchase a specialty $35 gift card for only $30 to use at participating kiosks throughout the theme park.  Those that purchase the gift card will also receive preferred seating to Rivers of Light.

The ‘Tasting Sampler Experience’ at Disney’s Animal Kingdom will only run from December 22, 2018 to January 2, 2019.  Guests purchase a specialty digital gift card for $30 which will be loaded with $35 for use only at designated kiosks.  The digital gift cards contain a bar code that can be scanned at over 40 participating kiosks and outdoor carts located throughout the park.  Guests can choose from a menu of sweet or savory items as well as specialty alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.  A complete map of participating locations will be available to pick up at Creature Comforts or Isle of Java.

Here is just a sample list of what you can expect:

  • Africa: Chicken curry bowl, Dole Whip float and craft beer selections
  • Discovery Island: Meatball with polenta, mac & cheese with pulled pork or shrimp, house-smoked pastrami slider and apple cider donut holes
  • Pandora: Pineapple lumpia, pretzels and select beverages
  • Asia: Tuna bao, Korean beef slider, fried dumplings, margaritas and a beer flight
  • Dinoland U.S.A.: Corn chip pie, Buffalo chicken chips, milkshakes and a holiday sundae
  • Other Locations: Additional carts are available throughout the park

You can purchase the digital gift card by calling 407 WDW-DINE and must be purchased at least 24 hours prior to arriving at the park.  Keep in mind that this cannot purchased the day you are in the park.  The ‘Tasting Sampler Experience’ gift card cannot be reloaded and cannot be used at quick-service or table-service restaurants.
