Last week Disney announced that the much anticipated Disney Skyliner Transportation System will start to transport guests in the Fall of 2019. During the D23 Destination D event at Walt Disney World, Disney Parks, Experiences and Consumer Products Chairman Bob Chapek unveiled the gondola.
Mickey Mouse, who officially turns 90 today, was there to help show off the all-new gondolas. The design is pretty much as we expected featuring the character graphics on the side. There were no further details as to how the air ventilation system would work as it has been a hot button topic as of late. Rumors have been flying for a while now about the system having or not having air conditioning and how air will flow through the gondola. I guess we will still have to wait and see regarding the OFFICIAL word on how the air cooling system will work.
