If you have been to Disney’s Hollywood Studios recently you definitely noticed the large amount of parking lot and entrance area construction currently going on. Walt Disney World announced today that the new entrance to Disney’s Hollywood Studios will officially open November 8, 2018.
Beginning November 8, guests will enter and exit Disney’s Hollywood Studios via Osceola Parkway. The old main entrance (via World Drive and Osceola Parkway) will be repurposed into a backstage entrance area for cast members only and the old entrance off of Buena Vista Drive (across from Disney’s Boardwalk Resort) will be dedicated to the Walt Disney World Resort buses. Guests driving from southbound Victory Way will also find a connecting road leading to the park. We highly advise that you keep your eyes open for the new signage.

The opening of the new entrance to the park marks the first of many transportation related construction projects to be completed. Along with the entrance, Disney’s Hollywood Studios is building a more efficient bus stop, parking lot expansion, tram station as well as the much anticipated Disney Skyliner Transportation system.
