A New Party To Celebrate The 25th Anniversary of “The Lion King” To Debut At Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Disney’s Animal Kingdom is set to debut a new celebration this January in honor of the 25th anniversary of Walt Disney Pictures’ The Lion King.  Animal Kingdom’s Discovery Island will be home to the all-new “Hakuna Matata Time Dance Party” a place to celebrate and dance with stars of the film Rafiki and Timon.

2019 will mark 25 years since The Lion King was released in theaters and Walt Disney World is celebrating in style.  To coincide with the 25th anniversary, Disney’s Animal Kingdom will have three-dimensional photo opportunities featuring some of the most iconic scenes from the 1994 animated classic.

The “Hakuna Matata Time Dance Party” at Disney’s Animal Kingdom begins on January 18, 2019.
