ABC’s ‘American Idol’ Kicks Off 20 City Bus Audition Tour At The Walt Disney World Resort

“American Idol” is back for its second season on ABC and will kick off a 20 city bus audition tour at the Walt Disney World Resort.

If you want a chance to audition for the next season of “American Idol” and will be at Walt Disney World in late August, this is your chance.  The 20 city bus tour will kick off on August 25 at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.  Registration will begin at 7 am but it is encouraged to arrive early.  Parking lots will open for guests at 4 am and no overnight camping out will be allowed.  The official auditions will begin at 9 am.  Please note that there will be no celebrity judges at these audition events.  You must be at least 15 years old and pre-registration is encouraged.   • Buffalo, NY – September 9
  • Kansas City, MO – September 9
  • Shreveport, LA – September 9
  • Columbus, OH – September 12
  • Little Rock, AR – September 12
  • Denver, CO – September 14
  • Charleston, WV – September 15
  • Atlanta, GA – September 20

To make the day even more special, guest appearances from last season’s “American Idol” will be making special appearances.  Visiting the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex will be last years “American Idol” winner Maddie Poppe, runner-up Caleb Lee Hutchinson and finalist Catie Turner!

If you cannot make it to any of the on-site auditions that are happening throughout the country you can still audition.  All you have to do is submit audition videos online via www.americanidol.com/auditions or via Instagram, Facebook, Twitter or Musical.ly using the hashtag #TheNextIdol.
