If you are going to be heading to the Walt Disney World Resort for the New Year’s celebrations you might want to check out this family friendly party at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
Pixar Party: A New Year’s Eve Celebration will take place at Disney’s Contemporary Resort Convention Center (2nd floor) from 8 pm – 12:15 am on December 31, 2018. This all-new Pixar inspired celebration will feature Sarge, the loyal leader of the Green Army Men, as your welcoming commander. Sarge will start your night as he greets you in his own special way and escorts you into the party. Once at the party you will be immersed in the world of Pixar.
The celebration will feature all of your favorite Pixar characters including Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie and Bullseye from Toy Story; Joy and Sadness from Inside Out; Mr. Incredible and Mrs. Incredible from The Incredibles; Mike and Sulley from Monsters, Inc.; Dug and Russell from Up; and various characters from Finding Nemo.
The decor will feature “theatrical backdrops, dramatic set pieces and props that help create the fantastic worlds of some of your favorite Pixar friends.”
Don’t forget to spend some time at the Pixar inspired buffet with some menu items such as Mr. Incredible Grilled Vegetables Multigrain Salad, Woody’s Favorite Lemon Thyme Chicken Breast and for the kids Andy’s Chicken Fingers plus much more. (see current full menu below)
What is a New Year’s Eve Party without the music! “Get into the action at a dazzling dance party when the Interactive DJ spins Radio Disney hits from his Cars-inspired DJ rig, gussied up with tires and road signs—as if it just drove out of Radiator Springs!”
There will be other kid’s activities featured throughout the night including Pixar Face Painting, Boot Camp with Sarge and a balloon artist that will be creating Pixar themed balloons.
The culmination of the Pixar Party: A New Year’s Eve Celebration will take place at the Contemporary Convention Center Porte-Cochére for some amazing Magic Kingdom fireworks viewing.
The price for the 2018 Pixar Party: A New Year’s Eve Celebration is $190 per guest (tax and gratuities included). Check-in begins at 7:30 PM and the event will run from 8:00 PM on December 31, 2018 to 12:15 AM on January 1, 2019.
