What was originally reported to be a simple overlay inside the DinoLand U.S.A. area of Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Donald’s Dino Bash! sounds like it is going to be a more permanent fixture. The Orlando Sentinal recently interviewed Mark Renfrow, show director with Disney Parks Live Entertainment and he let us in on the details.
“It feels legit,” Renfrow said. The overlay, designed to have a “slightly temporary feel,” will be a permanent part of the park, he said.
“It’s here forever,” Renfrow said. “It’s going to feel much more alive and definitely have so much more for the family and the kids.”
Donald’s Dino Bash! will bring in 8 characters to meet all around DinoLand U.S.A. Donald Duck will meet guests in the Welcome Center. Goofy will goof around with guests in a midway themed area which most likely will be near the current games. Pluto will meet and greet with guests in the Boneyard because well Pluto loves bones. Launchpad McQuack, Scrooge McDuck, Daisy Duck as well as Chip and Dale will also interact with guests in their own themed areas.
Other exciting happenings include a dance party and new signage thorough the area. All of this is expected to open on May 25, 2018.
