‘Avengers: Infinity War’ debut this past Friday (4/27/2018) and almost set an all-time opening day sales record. So what did Avengers gross on opening day? A whopping $105,967,000 was pulled in on opening day alone. This total falls just short of the all-time domestic record of $119,119,282 that was set on December 18, 2015 by ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’.
‘Avengers: Infinity War’ is projected to bring in a total of $240,000,000 in opening weekend domestic ticket sales which is just shy of ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ that pulled in an enormous $247,900,000. With that said, there still is a chance it will take over the all-time domestic opening weekend ticket sales.
