When “Happily Ever After”, the new nighttime fireworks spectacular at the Magic Kingdom, debuts on May 12 guests will get a taste of something that has been missing from Disney animated films for a while now…hand drawn animation.  The last Disney animated film that was completely hand drawn was ‘The Princess and the Frog’ from 2009.  At this point there is no plans to produce a completely hand drawn feature but we get a taste of what we are missing with “Happily Ever After”.

Take a look at the latest preview video from Disney Parks highlighting the process of developing the new animated sequences that you will see in the highly anticipated nighttime fireworks spectacular.
