Wishes Nighttime Spectacular Fireworks Show to end in Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom May 11

The rumors are true.  On May 11, 2017, Wishes Nighttime Spectacular fireworks show will come to an end.  A guest favorite since it debuted on October 9, 2003, Wishes will end its spectacular run and make way for a new fireworks show.  According to the Disney Parks Blog, “Happily Ever After,” a new nighttime spectacular that will combine the magic of Disney storytelling, beloved Disney characters, fireworks and so much more, will debut at Magic Kingdom Park on May 12.

“Happily Ever After” will combine fireworks and projection mapping together with an original score that will bring even more Disney characters to life.  The show will feature moments from “Aladdin”, “Big Hero 6”, “The Princess and the Frog”, “Moana”, “Zootopia”, “Brave” and more.

The current “Wishes Fireworks Dessert Party” will continue as the “Happily Ever After” Dessert Party.

We will bring you more information on the new “Happily Ever After” nighttime spectacular as it becomes available.  Are you excited for this new show?  Are you going to miss “Wishes”?  Talk about it in our forums.
